With significant change to the normal routines and uncertain times ahead, Powerhouse has taken the time to research and purchase new equipment to further enhance our cleaning service and help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
To achieve this, we have invested in a Karcher SGV 8/5 steam vacuum cleaner.
This specialist piece of equipment is commonly used within hygiene-critical environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, restaurants, hospitals, and care homes to help kill off any unwanted or dangerous bacteria that could be found on surfaces. The machine works by using steam pressured to 8 bar and a vacuum to remove and kill dirt and bacteria on surfaces, whilst instantly drying the area being cleaned. The Karcher SGV 8/5 also contains a unique self-clean function, which ensures the machine itself is fully cleaned after each use.

The aim from Powerhouse is to offer a specialised deep cleaning service within the workplace to help minimise the risk of COVID-19 and other harmful bacteria to offer a clean environment.
